This challenge is for a card...I got the sketch from Inspiration Card Sketches (I needed inspiration!). Great blog. I know we all need to build our card selection for the year...get to it! I am.

I didnt take any pictures of the snow, however my husband did take pictures while driving through the blizzard Christmas eve. I will have to use them I guess.
To get caught up on my kids scrapbooks. I have only to day one on Lillie's and she is 10 months already. As for Skyler, I am halfway through year 2 and year 3 will be over with in two months.
Yes, they start on a Thursday and end before midnight the following Thursday...that gives you all a week..and by the way...come to Chicago and you won't have to see the ugly earth until March or April!

Unfortunatley I didn't venture out when the snow was here...
When you go through your pictures, pick out the ones you want to scrap, put them in an envelope then write on the envelope the "story" of the pictures. You can make as many scrap packets as you want. Then all you have to do is grab a couple packets…
I gave up soda pop...so far so good! As for scrapping, well, I would like to get my photos from my ex & work on a book for my daughter. Also I need to empty out my big scrap bag & reorganize it.

Ok Dreamers! This is our year! I've added a couple of things to the sight..a challenge board, a "Thursday's Things" where each week, I issue a challenge. Complete it, post it on the board and get points toward a quarterly gift (yet to be determined). I want our group to grow and become active. Scrapping for a Cause
As most of you know, I am a patriotic sap. I have always cried when I heard or sang "God Bless America" or "This is My Country" or "The Star Spangled Banner", even as a little child. I cry at most patriotic songs (not "This Land is my Land" don't get me started on that communistic song!) or stories. I took our kids to the Veterans Day Parade in downtown Tulsa almost every year. I stand proud when our flag goes by..all 200 or so in the parade. If I wore a hat, I removed it out of respect.
